Can I use a single GoG.com DRM-free copy of Hammerthing for playing in co-op mod ?

We have two PC on the same local network.

When we try with two different account, one account can't join the salon. If we try with the same account, we can join the salon but if we launch the party, we can't play together.

Is it only online, there is no way for playing in local with two laptop like Divinity Original Sin 2 ?
