Is there any way to change the language in the game? I even tried to change my regional OS setting without any success.

I found a windows Registry value in \HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\WOW6432Node\GOG.com\Games\1421848741 (not sure if the number of that key depends on the system or is the same for this game on all machines).
There you can find a value for "language" set to "neutral". I set it to "english" but it didn't change anything in the game. But the solution could be nearby, not sure.

Seems to be the only choice right now. At least the game has a decent translation...

Oh yes, I have to agree here in case of the German localisation as well. Should be expected in such kind of game in which words are the core component but still glad they spent the money for a good localisation - which is rare nowadays, especially in indie games.
