After I managed to run the game in my system I decided to check how to play it in wide screen mode. Well, because the options do not support it I find a dirty hack to do it.

You run regedit and go to:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Digital Reality\Haegemonia

Then you fix the Resolution X and Y values to your resolution. For example I am running it in a 1366x768 screen therefore my Res X is 1366 and my Y is 768.

This is a dirty hack because the game resets those values to 800x600 every time you go into the options screen. And because you use the options to load your game, you kinda have to do it every time before you start it.

Worth it? Hell. Yes.

Wow good work. That was like the only reason I hadn't bought the game yet. By the way, if you have to keep doing this, wouldn't the easiest way be to create a .reg-file with the necessary changes that you place on the desktop?

I think the higher resolutions remove some of the techs from the tech tree, for some reason the developer never put the expansion changes into the main game, really stupid to be honest.
