just wanted to say, that it works out of the box with Wine, in my case Wine-Lutris-Wine-7.2-2, from Heroic Games Launcher. Had no issues within 30 min of gameplay. But gave it back, not my kind of game.

Thanks for the report, I can confirm it works well too. On my Debian box, with Wine 6.0.3, and DXVK installed with winetricks, it works perfectly (about 15 hours of play). With older versions of Wine I think some MFC stuff is required for the cinematics to work - check out protondb for the details.
