This game seems to be a LOT of fun, but some people are having controller support issues. It would appear that Xbox-style controllers are not supported, and the configuration is a mess when using an Xbox controller.

HOWEVER...it seems that other types of controllers are supported flawlessly.

I had the same issues using an Xbox controller as some other users. When I connected a Gamesir controller via bluetooth, the game worked as advertised. I believe this is a "Switch" style controller, so you may want to explore those types of controllers.

If you are having issues, try using different brands of styles of controllers. I have a variety of controllers for this reason. Even the really cheap amazon controllers are good to have on hand because some games work really well with them.

I know it is frustrating when you have a great Xbox controller that works well with other games but isn't supported by some.

Great game, great music, great graphics. You should give it a second look if you, like me, abandoned the game originally due to the Xbox controller issue, but this time try a Switch-style controller. (Re: Multiplatform PC controller: https://www.gamesir.hk/products/gamesir-t4-pro)
