Hi, I bought this game and after playing it for the first time, I got ticked off it was in fullscreen mode, but was even more ticked off to learn that from it's PCGamingWiki page, the only way to play in windowed mode is through dxwnd. The reason why I'm bothered by dxwnd is because it's not super user friendly for launchers like Steam, Playnite, etc, since it requires adding the game with dxwnd, specifying the game in order (i.e. if Gun Metal comes after second after another game, I have to specify it as "2"), and the fact that I can't really configure Playnite to shut dxwnd down if I quit out of a game. It just feels super cumbersome, and I have been trying to look for other solutions, and they all don't work.
First I tried Borderless Gaming, and it did nothing, it still launches in fullscreen. I then tried a d3d9 windower exploit that I used for my own personal install for Area 51 2005, and it just crashes after opening, and then I tried dgVoodoo and like the d3d9 windower exploit, it also crashes when I try to open it. I want to see if there's any other options or if I'm really just that hopeless with the game not being able to be windowed properly without dxwnd.
And another thing when I did play it, regardless of dxwnd or not, is it possible to get higher framerates, or was it designed for what I assume is 30 FPS? I tried changing the graphics settings and other settings and it doesn't seem to get any better.
EDIT: I forgot to check this as a "question post", sorry, first time posting here :/
