For anyone interested GGX2 is running great for me under linux using wine 1.2 . There is an occasional white box during some effects but that can be fixed in the configuration and turning off pixel shaders, but Its not very noticeable if you didn't.
The only real beef so far is the control setup is giving me some pause. Player two is getting mapped to the same buttons as p1 and they seem to all be getting reset after each run. Meaning I can't disable player 2 ( or play 2 players) and I have to set my controls real quick each time I restart. Some of that may be more the game than linux/wine but its hard for me to tell. Plus my controller setup is a little unusual. Its a twin PS2 controller converter.
However, once the controls are set and pixel shaders are off, the game runs fantastic.
***edit
In options there is a save feature which I assume would save my controller config but its not turned on by default. I just changed it in the config program though it isn't as easy to uses as the in game menu, but it may be the only way to get two controllers working.
