Not that I'm aware. I didn't get any notification for updates to either Guacamelee! Gold Edition or Super Turbo Championship Edition, and there are no sticky threads mentioning it in this subforum, so I would guess this version doesn't have 4 player coop. To be honest, I didn't even know that was a thing.

Maybe Super Turbo Championship Edition came with 4 player coop right out of the box when it came to GOG? I don't really know, I've never even played it in 2 player coop, let alone 4...

I would say "no, it doesn't support 4 player coop", but it's best if someone else more in the know tells you whether it has or doesn't have that mode.
http://steamcommunity.com/games/275390/announcements/detail/237890553824655601 it came later on an update for steam and ps4 versions, maybe the gog version will have tis update on future, i hope xD
I e-mailed the developers about this update, and I got this reply back:

"chances are the GoG version won't be getting the patch.
cheers
chrisM"

So, it seems that the GoG version is going to remain outdated compared to the Steam, PS4, Vita, and Xbox One versions, sadly. No explanation was given as to why.

While they will not release the patch here, they will for a physical drm-free release...
