As I wrote in my previous thread, I've beaten the base game's campaign and now I'm in the Dark Conspiracy campaign. I just reached mission 5, the first one where you officially play the Phoenix faction. And as I wrote there: the vehicles have the maneuverability of a pregnant cow. It's so unbearable to me that I'm considering to just abandon the game.
So actually I'm wondering whether it's indeed intentional or I have run into some sort of bug because seriously - the vehicle movement is so terrible that the game is almost unplayable. The vehicles have a decent maximum speed but their acceleration is so atrocious that it takes ages to move them by just a few feet. What's worse, even the pathfinding doesn't work properly due to this. The vehicles have trouble to stay the slightest bit in formation, they often get stuck and even slightly complicated terrain means several minutes for a route that the other factions' vehicles would need like maybe ten or twenty seconds for.
I have trouble believing that this is intentional. Can anybody else comment on this?
Edit: Oh yeah, something else that suggests that something's seriously wrong is the fact that some of my units seem to be nearly (or completely?!) invincible to certain attacks. The Order's powerful drone attacks don's even leave a scratch on my heavy tanks, even the Templars which used to tear every ground vehicle apart don't stand a chance against them. Seriously, something's just wrong.
Edit 2: On top of that the two hoverdynes that need to reach the enemy base to trigger certain events now have gotten stuck two times in a row on the slope leading down to the base (this didn't happen in three earlier attempts). I'm giving up for now unless someone can confirm that all of this is caused by some technical problem that can be fixed somehow. I'm really pissed right now.
