Hi, I've managed to run the game in native resolution by applying the resolution fix (I'd recommend it to everyone who wants to run the game on modern hardware!) mentioned in other forum threads here (http://www.gog.com/forum/ground_control_series/gc_1_resolution), but without and with this patch, I still have the problem that all videos at the start are simply black. I only get the Ground control logo at the start, then I get no picture/video, but sound until I'm in the main menu. Haven't found a solution to this yet, and switching to Win 95/98 compatibility mode does nothing. I suspect there's some issue with my Radeon Mobility 6470 graphics chip. My processor is an AMD Phenom II N660 Dual Core, I've got 4 GB of RAM. The laptop is a HP Pavillon g6.

I dimly remeber that with my old AMD Hardware (think X1950Pro here) there was a Problem with the Videos when running the game in 32 bit Color depth. 16 bit did the trick but looked awful. I'm not sure if there is any way to reduce your Color depth, but if you find it, it might be worth a try.

Oh, and you do have the latest Catalyst for your GPU installed?
