So, every time there is a rival race, the game tells you that the race will be against an X opponent. Then, when you get into the race itself, the opponent is someone completely different and after the race, it says you've won a rival race against "unknown". This leads me to believe that does not work correctly. Not sure if this is GOG version specific or it behaves this way everywhere, but it really does not seem to be working as intended.
