Hi, I'm having issues where the sound is often "crackly". It breaks up, and it seems like the game pauses for a half second or so, and then starts working again. I haven't had sound issues with any other game. Any ideas on what I can do to resolve this?

Have the same on OS X (Yosemite). Could it be performance-related?

Not sure. I'm running into this issue on Windows 7 64bit with an Alienware laptop - it's a gaming rig, so having a hard time believing that a 15+ year old game is having performance issues. I see some other people posting sound issues, will see if anything has come up.
