Wolfram_von_Thal: Thanks for the info! Ah well, I think I'll pass. I just can't understand why these obnoxious buttons have to be there - they are a hindrance for the immersion for me. The backgrounds are rendered beautifully, like art pieces for themselves - but these golden abominations are planted there very obvious. It's like somebody hammered rusty nails in a renaissance painting...

Adalrich: Just tried the game, and I can tell you that the inventory icon ONLY appears when you start using the added point-and-click controls and fades away when you use the keyboard, doesn't even require going to the menus. You'll be able to enjoy the game in it's HUDless glory - with the exception of the inventory screen, which now has button prompts.
Ok, that sounds good to me. Thanks for enlighten me! ;)

So there is no jacket inventory anymore? Even if you are playing with classic control scheme?

Jacket inventory is still there, as are buttons that can be used to examine, use or cycle between the items.
