According to the PC Gaming Wiki, the original game isn't "completely glitch-free and ResidualVM fixes lots of bugs". Did Double Fine bother to fix these issues? https://github.com/residualvm/residualvm/blob/master/dists/engine-data/patches/GrimPatchesDesc.txt

No, they fixed all known issues as far as I'm aware.

From what I've heard they fixed a lot of the major ones that fans made patches for the in the original.
