Hi,

A big part of attraction in item based games for me is being able to trade with other players, but for this i need to get MP working.

i tried everything stated in the common issues post but can’t seem to be able to join games of get someone to join my hosted game.

i connected directly to my modem/router (was originally behind a second one)
enabled upnp and set all the port forwardings (42805, 42852-42872, 27016) on my providers router
disabled firewall on this pc
disabled ipv6 on this pc since test was showing mismatch
flushed dns
tried a VPN
restarted pc

still unable to connect notification

Then i tried downloading the entire game again in a seperate installation and the results where quite clear:
Installed base game with latest patch: i could join and host games perfectly fine!
then i installed the expansions, and they FORCED me to start GOG galaxy, wich resulted in the same issue again: unable to connect. This clearly shows the issue is within GOG galaxy and i really hope you adress this asap! i Don't want to be foreced to buy the entire game and dlc's again trough steam just to get MP working (but if i have to i will be demanding a full refund since gog is responcible to for core gameplay mechanics not working on their platform)

I’m using GOG galaxy latest version and windows 10 latest updates. It’s the first time i ever had any issue with multiplayer in any game.

FYI it’s the first time i’m trying the multiplayer option, is there anything else i forgot? Would really like to resolve this

Why post this here? You should post it in the Galaxy 2.0 discussion section so the GOG devs will see it. They're not going to see it here.

What do you mean? He's having the same problem everyone else is. It's obviously Crate devs literally sitting around doing nothing instead of fixing crossplay. Why not post that here?

Because he clearly said the problem lies with Galaxy 2.0, not the game.

If you have a problem with crossplay that isn't related to Galaxy then post a bug report here

https://forums.crateentertainment.com/c/grimdawn/bug-reporting

That's the only way the Crate devs will know if there are any problems.
