Thoug new to ARPGs, I've been playing the game for a lil while now and have been loving it. I wanted to make a Trickster build (Nightblade & Shaman) since the idea of an electrocuting assassin sounds amazing. I'm putting most of my points into Nightblade skills, but I wanted to throw some into the Savagery line of the Shaman skill tree. The problem is, every skill in that line after Savagery says that a two handed melee/ranged weapon is required for the skills to acutally work.

The skills sound like exactly what I would wanted on my Trickster and I've read a forum post or 2 saying that they'll work regardless, but I wanted to get anyone's opinion who has tried it...didn't want to commit and end up wasting points. Thanks!

You are mixing up with primal strike, i think.
Or you got mutator which makes Savagery line stronger but require twohander.
Vanilla Savagery works with DW.
