Hello,

I was wondering if it's possible to play this via a LAN connection using only one drm free copy of the game.
I mention that both the PC and the Laptop are connected to the same WiFi.

If it's a standalone executable then it should be possible.
I have the same question, nobodies answered this yet, i wanna buy but i also don't wanna be tied to a DRM platform. Can anyone confirm, who has bought this, with no internet (and on local lan only) or gog client not installed, game installed on both machines,

that we can play multiplayer with out need of 3rd party DRM (Like the gog API to authenticate and use multiplayer), or does it work locally and not just with gog API for multiplayer component?
Yes, you can play multiplayer with the Standalone installers. You have to play Lan. and know the IP of the host. It also seems to be needed to connect to the same router. Windows 7 never had a problem, but windows 10 was kinda iffy, but it does work without any problem.
1.2.0.5a, the version at the time of this post, does not work LAN with the offline files.

Is that a bug or did they remove LAN support?

Lan is still in the game, You need the IP of the Host, then join >:)

It only shows a host browsing screen, your post makes no sense. I have tried and done everything possible multiple times, it doesn't work with the offline files. It probably works for anyone with Galaxy installed because of something Galaxy does without your input, the same reason I stopped using it.

Lan Support? The only problem I have found with playing lan is If one of the offline lan players has galaxy, Galaxy changes something so the database doesn't match, and they cannot join or host with the other non galaxy users.
