i once in a while to search for any player looking for a game online but barely anyone hosts sadly. i wonder out of curiosity how many players are casually playing?

Well, the game's mainly single player with some multiplayer added on. And GOG just doesn't seem to have as many people playing as Steam does. No crossplay between the two either. All you can do is keep looking.
