According to Riva Tuner this game is running at 10 to 15 FPS no matter what I do, and the stuttering during combat makes it almost unplayable. I've rolled back my video card driver (Nvidia 64 bit driver) to 411.63 then to 416.16, current using 416.34. I've checked options.txt and made sure it wasn't forced to single process and can use 8 threads and messed with processor affinity including running GD CPU Affinity.exe all with no luck.

All graphics options set to medium with AA and isotropic filter off. No pro post processing, ambient occlusion, or detailed objects. Vsync is off. Currently running Windowed mode 1920x1080 144Hz.

This is the only game I am having trouble with.

Any help or suggestion greatly appreciated.

Windows 10 Pro 64bit
Intel I7 7700
GTX-1080TI (driver 416.34)
16GB DDR 4
The game is install on a Samsung 960 Evo

RivaTuner is 9 years old, maybe it counts.

I am assuming it's still good they just updated it at the end of October and MSI still ships it with Afterburner.
Also if I add and lauch the game from Steam, Steam's FPS counter agrees with the RivaTuner numbers.

Closing malwarebytes and killing Asus SonicStudio seems to have improved the framerate, but it still dips quite a bit during combat. Oh well at least it's playable.

Thanks.
You should clean further your pc, as I have a less powerfull gig than you and have no problem with GD.
