I updated the game, yet these new areas are inaccessible? I followed a youtube video to each of those new areas and they dont exist in my game.

I triple checked that the game is upated, all the changes are in my game except these new areas

At least I built the new bridge near the start. I don't spoil further.
I use Galaxy 2.

Try a clean installation of the game. It seems there may be a problem with GOG.
