A bad click in a dialog option for a quest resulted in an undiserable and unwanted outcome - with a lvl 52 charcter. How do I undo this mistake?

I did not want to click that option, but it locked the quest in the opposite direction than I wanted it to go. I do NOT want to loose this charcter - but will not contue playing with the quest going in this direction!

If you backed up the character then you could revert to an earlier version. That should lose the quest but would also lose any progress you've made recently.

Otherwise, I think you're stuck. And honestly it doesn't really matter much. You can always get it right on the next difficulty.
