Did you manually switch ingame to the second slot first? Iirc it won't work unless you do that.

Or is your W key sticking?

It's not just the w key. I tried opening the inventory and using the switch weapon button and nothing. Reboot, it all works and I have to start over from the last rebirth fountain. It has happened 3 times now.

I have a similar problem : each time I launch the game, a different key does't work, usually in the hotkey shortcuts. 1, 2, now 1 again...

Is it losing the keybind settings or the keys just not working. If the latter, might need a new keyboard.

I agree with Medea on the keyboard may be at fault.

Just recently I was having simalar issues with GD and after searching the latest updates and the files of the game I found no reason for the problem. I chose to take a break from GD and started playing different games for a bit and started running into the same issues.

To keep a long story short, I unpluged my old G910 keyboard and pluged in my back up to see if that would fix my issues, and found that was my problem all along.

All that hassle and diagnostic work just for it to be a keyboard.

I'm on my 3rd keyboard since I posted that. Still happens. All I can to is reboot the game. Seems to work.

Still having the problem? Might try unplugging the KB while in came and plug it back in. That has worked for me in the past. Good luck.
