Bearing in mind that GOG is sometimes a little slower in getting patches up I checked with Zantai yesterday (19th) regarding the new Loyalist Pack being available here since it's due to release on the 20th June.

"Forgot to ask Zantai, will the Loyalist Pack be available on GOG at the same time? Or will we have to wait a bit longer?

I’ve been informed that tomorrow is a national holiday in Poland, so the GOG version of the Loyalist pack will be delayed until they can get it up on the store (I imagine Friday). This will also impact the standalone installers for v1.1.3.0, but we expect to have the patch out on GOG alongside Steam if you use their Galaxy updater."

Hi, could you please take the below issue up, with the development team?

https://www.gog.com/forum/grim_dawn/multiplayer_joining_game_issues
https://www.gog.com/forum/grim_dawn/cant_connect_to_server

We need a fix soon, since it has already been weeks this issue has occured!

Cheers.
These issues need to be reported in the Bug Reporting section of the forum.

Do a search first to see if it's already been reported and you can then add your experiences to that. If they've not been reported then make a report. This is the quickest way to make sure the devs see problems.

First of all hi MedeaFleecestealer, and thank you for your reply.

Second, this thread caught my attention.
https://forums.crateentertainment.com/t/cant-find-my-friends-hosted-game/82639/6
and most of all your reply, stating that;
"....Steam and GOG players can now cross-play if they have Forgotten Gods....".
I own the game on GOG.com and own all the DLCs (including Crucible and Loyalist Pack), while my friends who own the game on Steam have only "Ashes of Malmouth" (no Crucible and Loyalist Pack). We both have the latest version of the game installed and I had to uninstall "Forgotten Gods" in order to be able to play with them, with just "Ashes of Malmouth".
Alas, I couldn't find their Steam server, while they could find my GOG.com one, but when trying to join they met a connection error half way, at every single attempt. We are a bit of tech guys, so it's 100% not a problem on our side of things (network + installations).
So if I understand correctly, cross-play is only available if both GOG.com and Steam players, own the "Forgotten Gods" DLC. Anything else, even only running the base game, is a no-go for cross-play.
Please let me know if my assumption is correct and if so, explain to me the logic behind it. If you are mostly into the moderation part, could you point me to the P.R./customer support person to get the answer we the GOG.com users need in detail and if this will be changed to support any purchased content? Otherwise I should chime in, regarding that bug report.

Best regards.

Hi Fate and yes, I believe you are correct. Since one of you has FG and one doesn't they're not the same version as far as crossplay goes even if the version number is the same, is my understanding. I think that crossplay between players who only have the base game or who both have AoM should be possible so long as the version number is 1.1.0.0. and above, but I'm not sure the change is retroactive. Contact support@crateentertainment.com for a definitive answer.

Hi dear Grim Dawn fans.

Regarding the issue with cross-play, ownership of any DLC is not an issue, as long as both GOG.com and Steam players, use the same collection of DLCs (Crucible and Loyalist Pack don't matter) and both of their games' builds, have the latest update installed.
Again, thank you for your help MedeaFleecestealer!
I was also suggested to take a look at the thread, linked below, so I am reposting it here, in hopes that it can help you further.

Any updates on the Loyalist Pack #2?? I'm ready to purchase.......
Seems GOG staff have taken an extra day's holiday to make a long weekend so not sure when it'll be up. If not over the weekend, then early next week I guess once they're back at work.
seems like game's update via standalone installers is up, but no dlc yet
Yes, devs can do the standalone themselves, but the other stuff has to be done by GOG staff.
Has it just been forgotten about, or.........???
