This happened after I re-installed the game, why I re-installed it? I tried to update the game to ver 1.0.1.0 but it won't let me. so I decided to uninstall grim dawn on my laptop (not the 1.0.1.0 version), and then re install the game (that comes with gog galaxy). and then I tried to play the game but it won't start, it gave me the entry point not found instead. I have tried to launch the game via gog galaxy too but to no avail (I'd rather uninstall gog galaxy, mostly only playing offline)

Downloading the new version and it installing GoG-Galaxy gave me the same problem. In the end I solved in by verifying my installation in Gog-Galaxy.

On the game tab in GoG-Galaxy choose:
"More" (next to Play button)
"Manage Installation"
"Verify / Repair"

It took ages to scan/verify and downloaded 150 mb, after a good while applying the game now launches properly.
