Not a bug.

Rogue like dungeon doors are only open for a short period, then they close again whether you've entered or not. And they can't be unlocked again in the same play session.

Maybe learn how they work first before complaining about a bug that doesn't exist.
Not a bug. All rogue-like dungeons can only be entered once per game session. In fact, I'm pretty sure Kalderos informs you of this, had you only payed attention. Working as intended.

It isn't about what YOU need - it's about what the various game mechanics are and what they do. Steps of Torment is what is known in the game as a "rogue-like dungeon" - the aim is to replicate, in a fashion, rogue-like game tendencies.

If you don't understand what a rogue-like is then I'd advise you to learn how to use Google.

It is an optional challenge dungeon. If it's too hard for little ol' you to wrap your head around, then just don't play it. Simple.

I don't see replying to your post as harrassing you. We provided the answer to why the gate closed and you can't get in again. Of course if you don't want anyone to reply then just don't post to start with.

And yes, I guess you could say we represent the general type of player since both of us were invited to become playtesters for the game some years ago. I've got nearly 4,000 hours between my Steam and GOG versions and powbam has 15,000.

Since you seem to struggle to understand how the game works perhaps a read of the Game Guide would help

https://www.grimdawn.com/guide/

There's no need for a fatigue system in the game since once you reach L85 (base game) or L100 (expansions) you don't earn any more XP.
