Hi!

So i've downloaded Grim Dawn offline installers by Gog Galaxy. Then i've installed them and game ran perfectly. Also game says that its 1198 version so the newest. Then i've decided to start Gog Galaxy to play other game and then Galaxy simply started updating my version of the Grim Dawn. Even when i tell the launcher that i don't want it to download automaticcly the newest version. Also another problem is that it seems to want to download the whole game again and to add salt to injury it cant finish. It stays at 92%. I've tryed several times then uninstalled the whole game and decided to install it from gog using install button in Galaxy Launcher but nothing changed. It looks like the game works even with this "update" in progress. Installation never ends and when i wat to play this game, installation is automatically paused.

Overall my question is when the installation and launcher will be fixed because it looks like something is wrong with Gog Galaxy. If i did somthing wrong here then please tell me what to do ? Also i wanted to play this game with my friend but it tells me that i can play online only by GoG Galaxy but im hesitant to play a whole game knowing that this "update" cant finish and im afraid that something will break while i play and i'll lose my character or won't be able to continue playing.

Would have to ask GOG support that question. Some others have had the same problem, but there's nothing Crate can do about it, it's on GOG to fix it.

So what you are saying is that in the end we would just have to wait right?

It keeps on redownloading because the offline installers doesn't let the GOG galaxy know that you have DLCs installed so it keeps on to download those DLCs.

Another GOG user in my thread says it could be something wrong with the Forgotten Gods DLC

Well... the beauty of GOG is though is unlike any other stores, it is independent of it from its launcher. After encountering this update a week back, the download stall issue, I never looked back and just use Playnite. I suggest you do the same :)

The only two incentives of GOG Galaxy are its achievements section which honestly, nobody really cares and as for saves syncing. well that is something that needs setting up on.
