Any idea if there will be a patch file for version 1.1.9.7 to 1.1.9.8 without using Galaxy (I presume using that just updates to the latest version?)?

Previous versions have patch files for each increment (1.1.9.4 to 1.1.9.5, .5 to .6, .6 to .7) however currently I can only see the full sized game installers (base and DLC) marked as 1.1.9.8. I suppose I could just download those and update that way but it seems like additional hassle compared to having a simple patch file.

Far as I know if you don't use Galaxy you have to reinstall the whole game. That was why I eventually switched to Galaxy because my downloads of the manual installers used to take an hour and a half every time the game got an update.

Hello, what about making some kind of archive with older version installers? I know, that some people keep these on their will. But what about GOG? Just optional link. May be not via Galaxy, but via GOG site itself(where you can get your serial code, for example, or claim classic versions).
