I'm trying to complete the first quest given by the blacksmith: sharpen your sword and kill 2 slimes behind the blacksmith. I sharpened my sword, killed the 2 slimes not realizing they were part of the quest, walked away, came back a day later and now can't complete the quest. Even though I completed all the steps. Is this still complete-able for me? Or do I need to restart my playthrough?

In any case I'm pretty sure this is a bug
