Had the same happen to me.

Tho considering I had run into other bugs that probably needed full restart anyway, I dunno if this is bad. Annoying regardless.

Edit:

Alright, this was simple.

You can recover old saves by copying contents of %LOCALAPPDATA%/Praest/Saved/SaveGames to similar folder in the game install folder.

However my old bug persists so I probably need to restart anyway.

Lol, came here to see if anyone else had this issue too. Either it's not widespread or there aren't many people playing Graven on GOG atm.

I did that and it worked for the most part. But I have a lighting error now. It says "lighting needs to be rebuild" in the left corner of my monitor with red letters. And lighting truly is broken ingame...

I had that lightning error myself even before restoring my saves and starting a new game, so it seems unrelated.

I'm also having issues with lighting after the latest patch, having lost my progress too. I guess the new patch broke the game somehow. Hope there's a fix soon,just bought the game a couple of days ago.

No, I've not figured anything out. But besides hitching on level load and constant warnings showing, it doesn't seem to have any detrimental effect.

Kinda left it off and hoping for a hotfix.

The newest patch fixed the lightning error for me but my progress since the last patch was lost .........
