I'm running Windows 7 and the game crashes so much that it is virtually unplayable. The features and graphics are awesome, however, so I am looking forward to playing the patched game.

Still getting crashes in the patched version.
This last one was actually *in* battle (at the point of eliminating all hostiles with no losses). Played "Enemy Cruiser has been destroyed, went to black screen and crashed).
Before they would be after deployment, prior to battle start, which was "friendlier". A restart of the game would result in no lost gameplay.
