I just started playing The Witcher Enhanced Edition and I freaking love it!!! So I found out that the Gothic Series was made by the same devs for The Witcher so now I have to play the earlier games. Can someone tell me if Gothic 1 and 2 are compatible with Windows 7?
I have an i5 processor and ati radeon 5650.
I read some other topics and it said nvidia cards crashed Gothic 1 and 2 so i hope I'm in the clear. God, i want to play Gothic 1 and 2 soooo bad,

The Nvidia Windows 7 issue doesn't apply to ATI users. I have an ATI HD3850 and Windows 7 and both Gothic games run flawlessly. :)
As for the connection to The Witcher you are mistaken; both were published by Atari, but the developers are completely different (as is the gameplay). Both games are still highly recommended for RPG fans, of course.
