So I've been playing this again recently on Windows 10, yet all of a sudden after completing Chapter 1 and trying to head to the Valley of Mines my game crashes. Furthermore I cannot reload a game once I've already loaded a save file (ie. I can load from the Main Menu but that's it unless I restart the game). I feel like these must be connected as clearly it can't drastically alter game files once they've been loaded in the first time. Compatibility mode/Admin mode does nothing. Curiously I've found that if I make a new save file and use cheats to teleport to the VoM entrance I can enter anda leave with no issues. Has anyone encountered this, and have they found any fixes?

Did you already install the Systempack?

It fixes a lot of the problems caused in Gothic by newer operating systems.
