I have a problem running gothic under windows 7 with a intel i7 and a nvidia 330m graphics card. Fixed the no video by reading that thread. My problem is that it is really slow all the time, and when I increase resolution I get a two of everything, 2 characters, 2 diego...
I have intalled the lates videodriver.
Any suggestions...?

So I have the same exact specs I really want to play these games but have not tried because of all the "issues" with playability. Though i have done much research on the matter, try this, there is a file titled "gothic3.ttf" erase this it is safe and will up your framerate issues. please message me back I want to play this game im about to download now. we can troubleshoot together if yah want. hit me up.

Have done some research myself in the last 20 hours. Not sure your suggestion helps the issue with gothic since the file relates to gothic3. Cannot find it in the gothic files.
From what I have been able to read in the forums my problem is not a multicore issue but rather a NVIDIA and windows 7 issue. If you have the same specs then read very carefully the discussion concerning Gothic 1 & 2 and Win 7 before you decide to buy. But let me know if I got it wrong. There shouldn't be any problems with gothic3.
