At the end of installation an error pops up.
An error has occurred while trying to rename a file in destination directory:
C:\program files\GOG.com\Gothic 2 Gold\system\ar.exe
Move File Failed; code 5.
Access is denied
Tried installing 3 times and same error, downloading files again.
any help much appreciated.

If you have Vista/Windows 7 are you right clicking on the installer and selecting 'Run as admin' ?

I have windows xp, but i managed to fix the problem. All I had to do was re download the setup and it worked just fine. Thanks for the help though.

I'm having the exact same problem. Submitted it to GOG support a few minutes ago, but I'm not expecting to hear anything back for a while...
