The Gothic series has got to be one of the most misunderstood games I've seen.
Its a huge RPG, with ,much to do and some solid combat.
Sure it has its quirks and bugs, among other things like a huge difficultly.
But the essence of Gothic's appeal is in choices and making those choices fun and the realistic mature tone it shows.
If you are a forgiving player of RPGs and don't mind a rewarding but difficult game, please by all means snatch this one up now, hell you should buy the whole series.
