ok some things i found, all on foreign sites using translate.
Seems damage is not weapon damage+skill. its skill/2 when it comes to melee (strength) or bow (hunting). So attibute damage with melee or bows is half your skill in that area (strength or hunting). Having 600 hunting will give you +300 attibute skill damage in factoring in the damage of the attack.
Magic is spell damage * (ancient knowledge/100). Such as basic spellls like fireballs, etc have 50 basic damage. if your AK was 300, you would do 150 damage (50*3). since AK damage = 300/100 = 3. If your AK level was 600, your basic spells would do 300 damage in the spell calculation (50x6).
None of this factors in other damage calculations like resistances, armor, bow tention (for bows that have to be drawn). special resistances or weakness's, etc.
Most weapon skills such as large weapons 1, master archer, etc all give a +25 flat damage increase in calculations, other sites or notes where they might give 50% or double damage are false. Melee attacks to the head do double damage. I think with bows attacks to animal heads do double damage if you have the skills (game hunting and big game hunting) for predators and prey animals. I don't see any factors where you do double damage to orc/humans heads or special monsters with bows, in the calculation tables it's only "melee attacks to head".
