Up until today, Gothic was playing just fine. Upon loading it up this weekend, intending to make some actual progress on the thing, I started having issues.
Firstly, attempting to talk to a NPC character results in the camera shifting, as normal, but then no voice-over, no dialog menu, nothing, both characters just kinda freeze there, staring at one another.
Secondly, the game seems to have developed some strange "jumpiness" it's as if the camera is bouncing up and down randomly. it sucks.

Once more, I had no such issues previous to today, and the game seems to crash after a short while as well.

What system do you use ? What are its characteristics (OS, RAM, video card, ...) ?

Onboard GeForce 6150 SE.
Video sucks, but I've had no issues with most games from GOG.

Is this with a saved game, new game or both ?
Any chance you're loading a corrupted saved game?

With a saved game, I haven't yet tried starting over. Though I'm not very far, I suppose I could do that.
EDIT: A new game seems to function normally. Seems it may indeed be a corrupt save. :(

Rather than making yet another thread...
I can't for the life of me, figure out how to actually complete a transaction in the game. I get what I want to trade, and what I want to get in return into the little trade box in the middle of the screen, but what do I do from there?

I've only played once when it came out on GOG but if i'm not mistaken, after having the items/ore that you want to trade/buy/sell in the middle columns you press enter to get a menu with 'accept'/'refuse', then highlight 'accept' and press enter again.

Thanks, I actually read that section in the manual over twice, and still somehow missed the last word... :(
