Quick one ,in Gothic can you just sell items ?
For example I start the trade option ,I move my items from the right into the middle blocks.I see the Value in Ores ,I accept ,but then I don't see my Ores increase and I have lost the items ?

Do I need to accept something of the trader first ,so in other words it always has to be a swop ?
I am trying to buy the sword from Fink in the beginning and I dont have enough Ores :)

Yes, in Gothic 1 you actually have to set up a barter- simply moving your items to the center and selecting Trade will just result in you giving away your items for free. If you want ore for your items then you'll need to move some of the merchant's supply of ore to the center window.

Here's an important tip. For large amounts of ore to move, hold ctrl+shift+up. It will move 100 of ore at a time, much faster than just ctrl+up.
