Will the game work properly if I launch directly from Gothic.exe?
I ask because on my new computer, with Windows 7, when I launch from the default icon my gamepad is not recognized. Even though I've reprogrammed the logitech profiler to point toward gothic.exe, or gogwrap.exe or any other executable, it doesn't recognize my gamepad as being hooked up. But if I launch from Gothic.exe (and point to that file in the logitech profiler) it DOES recognize it.
I didn't have this problem on my old XP machine. I don't remember which executable I pointed to in my logitech profiler there, but I do remember my gamepad worked when starting the game from the default desktop icon.
I just want to make sure before I get too far into the game that launching from Gothic.exe will work ok and I won't be missing stuff.
This game is CRAP from the keyboard. And WONDERFUL with a gamepad. Makes all the difference in the world.
