Hi. I own an older disc version of gothic 1 and In Extremo is present in this version. But since the gog version runs better on my PC I would like to bring In Extremo into this version too. Does anybody know an In Extremo Patch?

In Extremo were originally present only in German version of the game. They were not in international versions, due to copyright issues.
But yes, it would've been really nice to have them around by default. :P

The text for "In Extremo" "Herr Manelig" Is Swedish not German.

If I install the German version, will the song be present? Or is it the same for everyone? (I'm asking since it seems that that is not always the case.)

It's gone from the digital german version as well, GOG, Steam, doesn't matter. The fact that the OP is german should've been your first clue.

Not really, considering GoG became available in German sometime in the last year. For all I know, he could have played the "international" version, just with German voices + texts and when GoG expanded, they made the actual German version available for people in Germany. The same can be applied to whatever happened this year when they followed USK ratings or lack thereof.
And the German language version of a game that is cut seems to be a thing here, from what I've read.

This is not true, the song was in the Russian version (G1 from Russobit-m). ;)

Is it not possible to refresh the licence? In Extremo is still active and should be contactable.
