In Gothic 2

Hello, i'm full stuck againts this dragon, i try all i can.

- i cant use cheat code, i try marvin code but i never succeded to have the console on.
- i summon all creature to help me kill this **** but even if i hit from behind he dont lose any lifes (or maybe he lose 0,00001 life but i cant see that)
- i use shrink spell BUT the spell doesnt work

What can i do please? I just wanted to kill this dragon properly first but it seems IMPOSSIBLE! And this **** is the main quest!

(we cant edit title so i cant fix it to "Gothic 2, ice dragon invincible"....)

Ah the ice dragon does kinda have high stats i think.
Why the shrink spell doesn't work?
As it should work maybe you don't know how to aim it properly and what shrink spell do you have a scroll or a rune?
In case of rune it probably needs a magic circle and scroll i don't think they need magic circles.
Is this gothic 2 with add-on or without?

Did you ever get a summon demon spell?

I use the scroll shrink (vendor Zuris in khorinis), the spell is assigned with "key 9", so i face the dragon i use the scroll, i see the green animation of the spell and... its all, the dragon is still enorm and still invincible.

I usually attack him with beliar claw but even with 10/20 hit, i dont see even a pixel of lifes lost.

i summoned a demon with a scroll but like me, the demon hit the dragon many times and the dragon dont lose any lifes (the only good difference is the demon stay more longer than me againts the dragon...)

its Gothic 2 Gold Edition, i just play that without any addon etc

The add-on i mean you probably have night of the raven also installed which what is gothic 2 gold edition actually is. I know that you have to be close to get the shrink monster scroll to work i think, try retrying a few times.
Otherwise what is your build a mage?
Don't you have any other usefull scrolls or spells?
Did you try any other weapons? As i don't know about this dragon, but one will certainly not work with the beliar claw.

i dont upgraded mage things, so i think i have nothing as mage, exept 96 mana point.

Yes i tryied the dragon slayer sword, but its seems that sword dont deserve his name. And the a holy sword created with 5000 gold in monastery

i tried many times the shrink scroll, now i have my head rubbing his stomach to cast the spell, and it doesn't work after many tries

That is weird i think i did that but on an older pc it worked. Maybe it has something to do with high fps on new pc.

That game is a SHIT!! i want to hit guys who are responsable of this full shit!!!!

It's been a long time ago (probably when I played the game for the first time), but I had the same issue. It's connected with script messing up and the game assuming that you already finished the dragon slaying questline. If I recall correctly you should report to the castle to one of the paladins (Orik probably) after killing each dragon and he will direct you to the next one. So you can probably fix this if you have an older save.

I kinda forgot there is an order which you have to do that with the dragons since i played the game maybe in 2013 last time i think which i finished as a mage.

anyway the correct order is:
Swamp dragon
stone dragon
fire dragon (volcano)
ice dragon
And think each time you have to go to Oric as the user above said

Also did you charge the inno's eye on the alchemist bench with a dragons heart?

I uninstalled the game out of frustration, I came back later here to see if it was completely dead and I saw this message about the order of the dragons...

And in fact I had killed the swamp dragon, the fire dragon but I didn't kill the stone dragon. The last information from Oric that there was an ice desert that appeared, so logically I'm going there to kill a dragon!
Despite everything, I maintain that it is an error of the game which for not having been clear enough (at the limit why not, to encourage us to think more), is downright misleading us!

So i go find the stone dragon, killing him etc, go to ice dragon with 0 conviction and use shrink spell and it works! so its one shot, and the adventure can continue

But anyway, thank you for your help on this forum, and sorry for the irritation, I spent 81 hours on a game, and to say that we can't finish it for stupid things, it's a bit annoying ^^
Tyvm all, Gothic 2 is a very good game.

The order did not matter. I killed them in order of Stone-Fire-Ice-Swamp. Make sure to recharge the Eye of Innos after each one.

Played with the Union patch, but it only fixes engine bugs, and doesn't change anything else about the game, so it should be the same as vanilla.
