Hey everyone!

I recently started playing Gothic 1 with some mods, and I'd like to play on 1920x1080. However, when I use that resolution, the text is way too small for me to read. I know there is a high-res font patch made by a Russian guy in the past, but I can't seem to find a working link to it anymore.

So, does anyone have that patch and can they upload it somewhere for me to get a hold of? I'd really appreciate it.

Simply put the file into your Gothic/Data folder and it should work. Truthfully, though, I don't see a huge difference in size, but it is a little larger and easier to read on higher resolutions.

After further playing, it makes the game playable for me on 1920x1080. Hooray!

The Font looks Amazing! Too bad it doesn't have the german "Umlauts" (ÄÖÜ,äöü,ß). :(

Does anyone know if a version with Umlauts exists?

Auch solltest du da die Möglichkeit haben die "deutschen" Patches über die englische Version zu knallen

There's a new version of that large font patch that be downloaded from here. Just tested it, works fine. Make sure to get the Latin version, not the Cyrilic. There's instructions in English inside the zip file.
