Hi everyone, I am having trouble installing the gothic 1 system pack and my problem goes like this: I get to the installation screen where I need to choose the destination of my file and I literally cannot choose it. If I try and choose the location of my gothic folder (in the galaxy folder) the "ok" button is greyed out. Does anybody have any suggestions?

As I found out myself, there is a particular order in which player kits & system pack, etc., *must* be installed. Fortunately, the guys who wrote these great files made them fool proof in that if you try to install a particular file out of order their installers won't let you...;)

Here's the order:

1. Install game "GOTHIC1"
2. Install Gothic1_PlayerKit-1.08k.exe, Gothic1_PlayerKit-2.8.exe
3. Install G1Classic-SystemPack-1.7.exe
4. Play.

If you happen to have the Steam version make sure you patch it to 1.08k first, if you need to, and then follow the above steps. If you are already running 1.08k then you go right into the steps above. Easy-Peasy...;)

I'm also running G1 with the d3d11 mod @ 2560x1440-looks fantastic. Steam has some nice guides on configuring G1 after these steps, as well.
