The Gothic Multiplayer project is our dear child born after many months of hard work of our small, polish team. The final product is absolutely free, just like any other addon to Gothic II: Night of the Raven should be - that's why you need only a copy of the game to run run it properly.

GMP lets you play with the other Gothic fans from all over the world. It's not only user-friendly, but also quite small in terms of the file's size. The mod consists of deathmatch-like mode, based on the best FPS games from the multiplayer genre, but with one, crucial difference - it's all placed in the world of Gothic. Thanks to the Gothic II engine, player can discover the world together, fight massive and epic battles and... do pretty much everything they want. Dancing in the rain at the Khorinis Market? Group jumps from the monastery bridge? Bloody slaughterhouse on the swamps? Thanks to Gothic Multiplayer, everything is possible.

Got a question for you as I'm not well versed in multiplayer (and please don't laugh :) ). How does one win? Is it the same as the base game but with a coterie or are we all against each other? Are there multiple nameless ones or do others assume, say, Gorn once he is freed? If a coterie, are the numbers of monsters increased (for play balance)? Sounds interesting; I'm just having trouble understanding the concept.
