So with the new update to gothic 3 which enables cloud saves all my existing saves are gone. The files are still on my computer but they are not visible in game. Anyone have the same problem or know how to solve this? Do I have to move the files to another directory?

I have the same problem. I tried un- and reinstalling, other Community patch, but nothing worked. Please tell me that my progress wasn't in vain.. :(

I have the same problem. the saves are in there folder but the game does not see them. i made a new game and its save is in the game and will load.all my progress in the game is lost to the loader. dont know how many other games did the same, will update after testing.

I have the exact same problem. I still have my save game files, but it's not possible to get them to show in game.I'm though running on the enhanced edition.

Oki, so this is the issue. If you look at the readme file from the patch, it is stated on point 5 that the savegames from earlier version will not work:

5. Savegames that have been created before installing CP 1.75 can't be used with
CP 1.75 anymore.

So, to be able to run the save games, you need to revert back to the old version.

This is how you do it. On gog galaxy, Find the game and select the "More" button and go to settings.

Then you untick the "Automatically update to the newest version. Then you can select which version to use. You then select the 35642747 version that is 3 years old and then it starts reverting.

When you then start the game you should be able to see the save games again.
