First off, I'm patched to the latest community patch with the optional AI turned off.

Two things I've noticed so far:
- The "shy deer" meat task appears broke
- While I provided three bundles of weapons to the swineherd, the rebel camp leader won't take the other three bundles

Could be a known bug or just me not quite correctly doing it (I suppose - I had the items, just no way of giving them). Feedback?

Shy deer quest is a pain in the backside. You can either go elsewhere and come back in a few days or just spawn the suckers :)

There's info on spawn codes here

Edit :

As for Reddock, you may need all five bundles of weapons before Norris will accept them.

Killed the shy deer; just Chris won't take them. Found six bundles; used three and Norris said three but maybe he's confused :) I'll see if there are any more to find. Maybe its one or the other but not both.

Also forgot that I wiped out the Dun (?) enemies om the beach by the lighthouse and couldn't finish that one either. I must be doing something wrong - too many for bugs I'd think. Heck, I can't even kill my enemies. they get knocked out then I can't target them for the coup de grace.

Maybe I shouldn't have waited so long since playing II -----

You killed five shy deer, took the meat and got the message that the quest was completed ?

It's been a while since I played but checked a number of hint pages which say Norris wants 5 bundles.

Took me a bit of practice to work out the coup de grace. Maybe zoom in to first person viewpoint so there's nothing but your 'target' in sight ?

Coup de grace in G3? Weren't hostile enemies automatically killed upon reaching 0 hp?

Avogadro6: Coup de grace in G3? Weren't hostile enemies automatically killed upon reaching 0 hp?
Hostile enemies, yes, but a number of early G3 fights can involve NPCs who are either neutral or 'undecided' ;)
I never had problems performing a finishing move, except when fighting against some big groups. IIRC all bandits around the starting zone were hostile by default too.

Anyway, if it's that bad, remember that using arrows or magic to finish someone's HP off results in an instant kill. It shouldn't really be necessary though...

Whoopsie! No, he said meat, never mentioned five. Fraid I cooked the three I killed so far. Oh well; live and learn.

Norris does indeed want five bundles - he took them for a completion. Funny, though - he was already training me.

The mission for the lighthouse guy near Andrea - the bandits on the beach with the three crates stolen from the Orc at Port Dun (?) - they are one in the same to complete the lighthouse mission, right? Killed all of them and the ones in the cave by Chris so I should be able to complete the task, right? Or is there some unmentioned item needed to trigger completion?

The 'bilge rats' Jack wants split in twain are near some large rocks to the north east of the light house.

He doesn't specify a number - hunt the deer until you get the 'mission completed' message. As far as I know, any meat will do the trick when you return to Chris.

You know, I suspected that as it simply added to my raw meat total.

Bilge Rats - finally remembered that other mission! Don't make it to Andrea that much now - found work inland :)
