I'm running gothic 2 and tried to install the DirectX 11 renderer but I get this error when I run the gothic2.exe:

Your GPU (Intel(R) HD Graphics Family) does not support Direct3d 11, so it can't run GD3d11!
It has to be at least featurelevel 11_0 compatible, which means at least:
*Nvideia Gefore GTX4xx or higher
*AMD Radeon 5xxx or higher

My GPU (Geforce GT 525M) is not that powerful but it does run Dx11. Dxdiag also indicates I am running Dx11. Does anyone know why the game doesn't seem to know?

Thanks for any help.
I suppose that you have already install the SystemPack 1.7
Go to nvidia control panel (Manage 3D settings) and select the nvidia card for Gothic2 application.

I try the GD3D11 to my laptop with windows 10 and GTX950M for Gothic 1 and the results was disappointing (bad graphics , unnatural colors , worse performance than before) so i remove GD3D11 and now is all well using the intel graphics. But that was my expirience with GD3D11 other people are very happy with it . You can try and see for yourself.
Also i hear that GD3D11 works better with Gothic 2 than Gothic 1
Yajirobe777, you were correct. It was set to run on integrated graphics.

Thanks a lot!
