Hi all.

I've made the trick to get the guard armor before turning fire mage in the old camp but I didn't learn two handed skill and I am wondering if it is still possible ?

I tried toward Thorus, Lee and Cord as well as Cor Angar but...no way ?! Is there any teacher left ?

I'm still using my one handed skill learnt before becoming fire mage but the one handed weapons begin to fall off behind two handed ones in matter of damage...and I'm still at the first circle of fire magic with no mana so it is becoming harder to kill monsters...

I assume you are, righty now, a mage of Old Camp, right? If so, you will get a chance to learn two-handed later in the game. Just prepare your points for that moment. :)
Other than that? No, there is no other way - most teachers are restricted to camp choice.

Hmm.. I think you can get through it with either additional streaght or with, ironically, two-handed weapons. They're slow, yes, but still with timinig you should go through with them. But there should be some one-handed weapons as well. Did you check the shops?

I don't want to enter too far into spoiler territory but it's safe to say in my first playthrough of Gothic 1, I had little trouble going through the game with 1H and crossbow.

I actually only used 2H at the very end of the game

I checked all the shops I could until now and haven't found better than a rusty bastard sword with 45 dmg.

Thus I'm wondering if I wait for being able to learn 2H or if I invest in circles of magic right now. For this, I think I must spend points into mana ?
