After downloading, I open Gothic and it plays. During the first two minutes of play I have to lower the volume so I Alt + Tab over to the GOG Galaxy screen and mouse over to lower the volume. When I Alt + Tab back, the game is crashed. When reopening there is a DOS box that opens and everything else is frozen. I have to restart the comp to do anything. Everything else plays but Gothic wont do anything beyond the DOS box that opens.

Any help would be appreciated. Please give details. Not tek savvy anymore, it's been a while. Thanks

I was getting the same issue. Now, its showing the DOSbox window but then it just crashes. All I did was log out and log back in when it wouldn't close the DOSbox window.

Got it working fine now. Followed the instructions from another post about not working on Win7 but I'm not allowed to post links.
