Hi Folks. OldGuy here. I have attempted to enter the console on Gothic 1 with my old Win 7 computer and have tried the "s then type marvin then s again" - no console. I have tried typing B then marvin then B - no console. It did appear once, and I went back to the game but I had some work to do and closed the game and I cannot remember exactly what I did; now, cannot get the console to open after restarting the game. I'm flummuxed. Any ideas???
Any help greatly appreciated.
P.S. I just like to wander safely through the games and not stress my heart with all the excitement. Cough, cough ;>)

OK. I do not know why, but the problem resolved itself. I can now wander through the story and see what progression is made with each new iteration of the game.

If I were 50 years younger, I would get a computer education and set up new games. What fun.
